Our Story
The idea for Sterling And Noble® first emerged when our founders grew frustrated trying to find wall clocks that were both striking and well-made. Most mass-produced clocks looked flimsy or lacked character. Meanwhile, vintage clocks or higher-end contemporary designs often came with exorbitant price tags.
We saw an opportunity to create beautiful, heirloom-quality pendulum clocks that were still accessible to most buyers. By working directly with manufacturers and designers, we could offer clocks with incredible style at fair prices.
Our first collection launched in 2020 with just a handful of clock designs. But we quickly built a reputation for our uncompromising quality standards and keen eye for timeless, elegant styles. Before long, we were fielding requests from customers for more clock designs to fit an array of decors and tastes.
Today our catalog includes dozens of unique wall clocks to suit any space. We’ve expanded into table clocks, mantel clocks, and more. Yet through it all, we stay true to our founding commitment to incredible craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
Our Clocks
Every Sterling And Noble® clock begins with a shared vision of creating meaningful, lasting beauty.
Our in-house design team brainstorms ideas, researching trends in home décor, architecture and high-end design. We seek inspiration from many eras and aesthetics – classic Romannumerals, bold contemporary colors, vintage romantic flourishes.
The designers collaborate with our master manufacturers to translate their creative concepts into reality. Each clock takes shape through a careful process of drafting, refinement and skillful handcrafting.
Once the prototypes meet our standards, the clocks move into production using only the finest materials and most artisanal techniques. Our Roman numeral clocks feature intricate metal work in solid brass or zinc alloy. The pendulums are weighted with polished hardwood disks for optimum swing. The clock hands are finished with luxurious metal platings or paints.
No detail escapes our attention. Every material and method is carefully chosen to ensure decades of reliability and beauty. The result is a collection of wall clocks that don’t just tell time – they enrich each moment with style and quality craftsmanship.
Craftsmanship

Clock faces are printed on high-density vinyl or carefully handpainted. Roman numerals and other markings are applied using traditional metal stamping or engraving tools.
Pendulum rods are lathed by hand from premium hardwoods. Clock hands are shaped from metal sheets and finished with multiple layers of plating or paint. Weights are made from solid cast-iron blocks. From initial sketches to final quality checks, our human artistry shines through.
We also take pride in partnering with vendors who share our values. Our US-based wooden pendulum workshop has been family-owned for generations. The metal stamping provider we work with in northern Italy has been perfecting its craft since 1820. We avoid outsourcing production overseas not just for quality reasons, but to support local craft communities.
